We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Communikit App, your information is protected both online and offline. As a company policy, we try to collect and store as little personal information about our users as possible – Any forms submitted through the ‘Forms’ section of the app are not received by the Web-service’s servers and are not stored; this form data is submitted directly to the Administrator appointed by your Community or Organization

Wherever we do collect information from you, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for 'https' at the beginning of the address of the web page. All data passed from related mobile applications is done using SSL.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

DATA RETENTION/DELETION POLICIES

Users' personal data that has been uploaded into the Web-Service Platform in some way (e.g. User Account Information) will be retained for as long as the account is maintained with the Communikit App or one of its partner apps. Once an account has been removed from the Communikit App or one of its partner apps, account information will be retained, but inaccessible until the user requests the data to be deleted. This does not constitute a guarantee that if you delete your account your data will be retained.
